RETURN POLICY

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL – EXCHANGE

The return period starts from the day you receive the product of your order.

For Modellato products, the first return or exchange of an order is free of shipping charges, provided that you complete the relevant electronic return form, which must be requested after contacting us, and that the product is sent back to us within 14 calendar days using the courier company we recommend.

Conditions Required to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal Within 14 Days

  • The product must not have been used or worn.

  • No tags, labels, or markings (e.g. stickers, brand labels, etc.) attached to the product must have been removed.

  • The product must not have been washed or tumble-dried, as in such cases it is considered used and unsuitable for return.

Additionally, all items must be returned in the excellent condition in which they were received, without damage or defects (except in the case of a defective product), complete and in their original packaging, and must be accompanied by all required documentation (the electronic email/form mentioned above).

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

The company takes every possible measure to ensure that all its products, regardless of type, are specially packaged with great care so that they reach the customer without damage. However, in very rare cases, a product may be damaged during transport or delivered with a manufacturing defect.

For this reason, and without prejudice to the customer’s right of withdrawal, the customer is requested to carefully inspect the products upon receipt.

If the product is received without any specific reservation or objection, it is deemed to have been accepted without reservation. However, if damage or a defect is detected, the customer must immediately inform the company by contacting info@modellato.com, stating whether they wish to:

  • receive a replacement product, or

  • exercise the right of withdrawal.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If a product is proven to be defective due to manufacturing reasons, for Modellato products the customer may:

  • request replacement with the same product,

  • request replacement with another product of their choice, or

  • request a refund, provided that the desired replacement product is not available.

The relevant electronic declaration must be submitted no later than 14 days from the date of receipt.

Returns are carried out:

  • free of charge from day 1 to day 14,

  • at the customer’s expense after the 14-day period.

WARRANTIES

The customer is required to retain the product warranties, as without them it is not possible to apply the warranty terms and related benefits. In all cases, the specific warranty terms provided for each product apply, and the warranty expires upon completion of the stipulated warranty period.

TRANSPORT LIABILITY

In the event that a third party or intermediary involved in the order (indicatively: a courier company) causes loss or destruction of the parcel, the company bears no responsibility for exchange, replacement, or refund.

PRODUCT RETURN PROCEDURE

  1. The procedure for returning products ordered from our website is simple and is carried out by completing the electronic form sent to you via the email address you have provided.

  2. For a return of products (defective or non-defective) to be valid, the above procedure must be followed and the relevant electronic request must be received by our Company within the time limits set out in this Return Policy for each case.

  3. In all cases where return, replacement, and/or repair of a product is provided for under Article 7, the product must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt. In all such cases, products must be in the condition in which they were received by the customer, complete and without damage, and their packaging must be the original packaging accompanying the product (matching the Company’s product codes) and in excellent condition, together with all documents that accompanied the product (e.g. Delivery Note, Retail Receipt, etc.).

  4. In particular, for the return of products whose order was placed by telephone, the return of the product, regardless of the reason, shall be carried out after consultation with the relevant department, always within the applicable deadline and under the terms set out in the Return Policy (Article 7), during business days and hours (Monday–Friday).
